Open 4-H & FFA Pre-Entry opens

Pollorum Testing - Saturday, July 6, 2024.


Wednesday, July 10 

4-H & FFA Fair Entries due. Late entry fee is $25.


Friday, July 19 

Final day to enter open class entries and be entered in a special drawing. Entries will be accepted on Monday, July 29, however pre-entry is encouraged.


Saturday, July 20

9 a.m. 4-H Geology Judging – Extension Office Meeting Room


Saturday, July 27

8:30 a.m. 4-H Pre-Fair Judging – Community Building

(Clothing, Fashion Revue, Visual Arts, Fiber Arts, and Photography)

10:30 a.m. Entries MUST be in the building by 10:30 a.m.

12 p.m. Work day and setup the Community Building, Quonset Hut and Livestock Barns


Sunday, July 28

7:30 a.m. Check in for Horse Show

8 a.m. Horse Show


Monday, July 29

12 p.m. Tammy Egidy Cookie Jars MUST be on display in the community building

1-3 p.m. Enter Open Class Foods. Judging will be Tuesday at 9 a.m.

1-4 p.m. Enter & Conference Judging of all 4-H Foods

1-2 p.m.: Star Shooting and Cherry Mound

2-3 p.m.: Lucky 13

3-4 p.m.: Seekers Not Slackers

1-5 p.m. Enter all other 4-H & Open Class Exhibits

(Open Class Foods Entry ends at 3 p.m. 4-H Judging ends at 4 p.m.)

5-7 p.m. 4-H Foods Bake Sale

5:30 p.m. Judging of all Horticulture and Floriculture

5-7 p.m. Enter & Weigh All Market Sheep, Meat Goats and Swine

To minimize confusion, please have swine in pens by 5 p.m.

5-8 p.m. Enter All 4-H and Open Class Poultry and Rabbits

6-8 p.m. Enter & Weigh All Market Beef

After weigh-in is completed, there will be a Livestock

Exhibitors meeting in the arena. Frontier Farm Credit will be serving a hot dog dinner to Exhibitors in the evening.


Tuesday, July 30

8:30 a.m. Swine Show – Beachner Grain is providing doughnuts and drinks before the swine show.

9 a.m. Open Class foods judging

11 a.m. Rabbit Show – Livestock Arena Show will start 15 minutes after the Swine Show, if it’s not completed by 11 a.m.

1 p.m. Judging of remaining 4-H and Open Class Exhibits, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts Exhibits

12:30 p.m. Community Building will close at 12:30 p.m. for judging and reopen at 3 p.m.

1:30 p.m. Poultry Show – Livestock Arena. PLEASE NOTE: It will begin at 1:30 p.m. or following the Rabbit Show.

7 p.m. Parade – Stadium

After Parade Pedal Tractor Pull – North End of Stadium

8 p.m. Fashion Revue & 4-H Awards Presentation – Livestock Arena

6-10 p.m. Fun Services of KC

8 p.m. Ranch Rodeo
